Creekfest

Porirua Healthlinks Trust (PHLT) is an independent charitable trust whose vision is to look at achieving better health and wellbeing for all people of Porirua.  PHLT promotes health and well being through an annual reigonal event known as Creekfest which has grown into a major annual event that attracted 30,000+ people at the most recent Creekfest held 20th March 2010.

PHLT facilitates CREEKFEST and organizes the funding.  Historically the key element of success is the spirit of service demonstrated by the community to make this event a success and this year is no different.  However, shortfalls in key funding this year have meant PHLT have had to be innovative in their approach.  This has included charging for stalls and looking for other funders and sponsors.
